Another week, another jam-packed cinema programme here!

Based in our studios, Cardiff Animation Festival are hosting a special screening on Sunday 18 July, featuring Don Hertzfeldt’s newest animated film, ME, a 22-minute musical odyssey about trauma and humanity’s retreat into itself. Also, returning to the cinema for the first time in 12 years is his acclaimed It’s Such A Beautiful Day.

On Wednesday 21 August at 6pm we welcome Kneecap, a fierce and funny fable pulsing with hip hop beats + Q&A. Set in Belfast, aspiring Gaelic rappers Naoise and Liam Óg join JJ, a schoolteacher who makes beats in his garage. JJ wears a balaclava to protect his job, and they become Kneecap’. Their rebellious rap stirs controversy and threatens their dreams.
